Delete your Shaketail account and data

Delete in the app (recommended)

Open Shaketail and tap the profile icon at the top right.
At the bottom of the page, tap Delete my account and data.
If you signed in with Google or Apple, confirm your account once more; with email, type your password. Guests just confirm.
Tap Delete permanently. Your account and data are deleted right away.

If you can't open the app

Send an email with the subject "Account deletion" to shaketailapp@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account. Your account and all its data are deleted within 30 days and we confirm by email.

Guest accounts aren't linked to an email address, so they can only be deleted from inside the app.

What is deleted

Your account (email, Google or Apple sign-in, guest ID)
All ingredients in your cabinet
Your favorite cocktails
Your shopping list
Your "always have" settings

What stays for a while

Device-level usage statistics stay in Google Analytics for 2 months, then are deleted automatically. Aggregated counts that can't be linked to anyone may be kept longer.
Crash reports stay in Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days, then are deleted automatically.
Scan photos are never stored on our servers.

To delete only some data without deleting your account, remove items from your cabinet, favorites or shopping list inside the app.
